Sunset On The Prairie Sunset – October 5th
Saturday, October 5th 5:30pm.
This is a leisurely ride on the Prairie Sunset rail-to-trail with 4, 12 and 16 mile options.
Meet at the park at Main and Santa Fe in Goddard, KS. We leave at 5:30pm sharp.
Good things to bring are water, helmet, lights, spare inner-tube.
After the ride we may seek out food and/or beverage in Goddard.
The Prairie Sunset is a crushed limestone trail on a former rail road bed. Wider tires, easy gearing might make for a better ride but not necessary. More on the trail here.
Gypsum Creek Cruise Recap
We had a nice turn-out and great weather for today’s ride along the Gypsum Creek path. What a great time! Unfortunately the ride wasn’t with out a few mechanical problems along the way including a loose crank, a broken chain and a couple flats. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a fun ride.
