HWC will recognize those deserving businesses that engage in bicycle friendly approaches that might include (but are not limited) to one of the following.

welcomes bicyclists to their business
has secure and convenient bicycle parking
provides incentives to commute by bike for their employees
supports a bicycle team/club
works with local advocates to improve bicycle conditions in the community
provides on-site shower facilities for employees
promotes bike to work week
