The date has been set for 6th annual Art Of The Bicycle. Mark your calendar for Final Friday, July 30th.
This year's show will be a little different than previous years. The show will run longer than just the one night as it has in the past. There will be other bicycle related events during the time period that the show will run. Fewer bikes will be shown inside the gallery than in the past few years with an emphasis on artistic, creative and unusual. More details to come at a later date. In the meantime get busy creating that new work of art be it a bicycle, painting, photograph or what ever method of bicycle related artistic expression you choose.

If you are interested in helping plan or volunteering for this years Art Of The Bicycle show, please attend a meeting Saturday, March 6th 2:00pm at the Go-Away.

Please note: This is a planning meeting not a party! Only come if you are serious about contributing. You don't have to attend if you just want to enter your bike and/or art in the show.

What a night! As for the turnout it was probably the biggest show yet. I was told a head count of 1200 was taken at a gallery down the street. I'm sure we easily surpassed that. Several new participants and bikes this year and more photography than in previous shows. The live band was a nice addition. The World's Largest Bike Ride was a lot bigger this year with a route that took us to the fountains and the Farm and Art Market square. I believe there were also more people participating in the swap meet this year. Thank you to those who helped in putting on this year's show and to everyone who participated. It was a great time!
