Thursday nights (weather permitting) area bike enthusiasts meet at the Shamrock Lounge 1724 W Douglas Ave 7:00pm (or so). From there the group rides Eastward stopping at other establishments along the way. Anyone is welcome to ride but you must be 21 to enter most establishments. All types of bikes and bikers are welcome. There is probably more socializing than riding so don't worry if you are not in the best riding shape. Some people ride from home while others haul their bikes to somewhere near the start. Head and tail lights are a must. Click here for Wichita bicycle ordinances.
This ride is not affiliated with one particular group or organization.

2nd Annual Christmas Lights Cruise - December 11th

Meet at the Shamrock at 7:00pm. After a beverage we'll head West instead of the usual East and ride to and through the Lights On St Paul Christmas lights display. This is about a 1 mile ride from the Shamrock.

The lights shut down at 9:00pm so we'll need to leave promptly.

After we'll head back East and stop at the Vagabond for a warm drink if needed. Then on to Downtown and Old Town to check out the lights there.

Plan to ride no matter what the weather.
Decorate yourself and/or your bike if you like.

Turkey Ride 11-20-08

Kind of late notice but someone decided tonight that next Thursday will be a turkey trot/ride. Do something in a Thanksgiving theme. Decorate yourself and or your bike.

Hallowheelie A Ghoulishly Good Time

Great weather and a good turn out for the annual Halloween ride. A lot of neat and creative costumes and bikes. There was also live music performed by the Phantom of the Opera and a dance performance by the lovely Marcia Brady.

Erick Support Cruise

Tonight we met up at Century II and rode as a group to the Shamrock as a gesture of support for our friend Erick and his battle against cancer. At the Shamrock we had pizza except for Erick who had fish as the pizza had all been eaten by the time he arrived.
