New Years Day Get-Together and Pot-Luck Dinner

New Years Day the Coasters will be having a pot-luck dinner 1:00pm at the Park Villa shelter in Riverside Park (Map). The building is heated and has electricity.
Ham sandwiches will be provided. Any food and/or drinks you would like to bring would be appreciated.
If the weather is half way decent bring your bike to putt around the park.

Free Bicycle Program Getting Rolling In Wichita

WICHITA (AP) -- For most of the last decade, an anonymous man has made it his mission to leave lime-green bicycles parked throughout Wichita for anyone to use.

"Bike Man" works with the Bicycle X-Change, a local bicycle shop, to supply the bikes around the city. Riders are advised to just hop on a bike and then leave them on a main street when they're done.

Christmas Lights Cruise Recap

Riding through the "Lights On St Paul" display

There was about a dozen people that showed up on bikes to ride and see the lights. A couple others came by to socialize but not ride. When we got home I checked the temperature and it was 26 degrees. Photos here

I believe the plan this year w as to have fewer bikes on disp lay so they could be better di splayed. Also bikes that haven 't been in the show before whi ch would narrow it down quite a bit.

I have stopped by the garage.. .. I could have sworn that the re were more people into this kind of event than what has sh own up..... Where are all the bikes! There is alot of good stuff but I know there is much more that could have came!
