Following The Yellow Brick Road And Others Less Colorful

Today I pulled the Schwinn straight-bar frame and fork down from the attic and built it up. I then took off on it for the big city. It was colder and windier than I had thought and I was heading against the North wind, exerting myself pretty good. When I finally turned East my throat was sore and I began a coughing fit. After about 15 minutes of coughing I decided I better get some water (I’d took off without any). I got water at a C store and eventually the coughing stopped. From then on it was a pleasant ride and day. I ate lunch, went to a park and then stopped for dessert. Midway through my ride I crossed paths with another Randy who is a bike friend of ours and was also out for a ride. On the way back home I went a few miles out of my way to avoid my least favorite bridge knowing it would be busier in the afternoon than it was this morning when I crossed it. Once home I mapped my route which was 21 miles.
